ABOUT LISA

Hi, I'm Lisa the face behind Lisa Holmes Hair!
I am a wife and mum of two beautiful boys who drive me to do my best always.
I have worked really hard to build my business making all my clients feel welcome and more like friends. I love working in my personable salon setting, its relaxed and has a homely feel whilst still being a professional environment.
I have always found hair to be a passion of mine. Following my own little motto "Do what you love ... Love what you do" I trained as a salon apprentice and attended College to qualify at Level 3.
I opened Lisa Holmes Hair for business in 2017 to follow another goal of working for myself and again in 2019 I was able to achieve the dream of opening my own York based Salon whilst still travelling to many beautiful locations for Weddings.

“Lisa did my wedding hair and I couldn't have been happier with it. She took the time to make sure it was what I wanted and did it to perfection. She also did the hair of my flow girls which looked stunning. Due to their age and excitement they were twirling around with it and she tweaked it about 3 times each for all 3 of them before we left for the church to make sure it was perfect and it lasted all day and night, even through twirling, cartwheeling and dancing galore! She just put everyone at ease and was genuinely lovely. Also I went for my trail before the wedding in her salon which is absolutely stunning!"
